29th August - 31st August
around night time i set off my departure from home to East Coast Park where my class chalet was held. by then it was also the second day of my class chalet cause i was at my MCG chalet for the first day of my class chalet. by the time i reached there, they just ended celebrating Sarah's and Koh's birthday. my personal favourite picture of them right below.
right click and look at EDMUND's face please. he's the far right with a torchlight.
LOL! i have no idea what's he up to la that xiaojie. as usual, the tradition of night riding was held at the second day of our 4 days 3 nights chalet. around 11 30 pm, we set off our destination to Marina Bay, Esplanade, by bikes. i tried my best, using my INSTINCT and LUCK, to lead them for the night riding to the destinated place.
it would have been an easy trip if not for the closing down of one road that directs straight to Esplanade. so we have to take the long way instead, cutting through condominiums and deserted roads. was a tough journey though. i almost thought that we lost our way until i saw Kallang Indoor stadium which meant that we were right on track.
upon reaching the stadium, we came across this long bridge that connects to Kallang Indoor Stadium. it was really beautiful, the scenery and the background of the bridge. and by than the girls were rather tired of cyclying, so that bridge became our first checkpoint of the night and also a place to "camwhore". LOL!
the girls.
the guys.
girls and guys combine.
we continued on our journey after about a 10 minutes break. we had to cross bridges, carry our bikes, cycle underground & beside highways and passing by dark alleys. it was horrendous i tell you but at the same time, very fun. finally we reached Suntec City and it was very different at night at Suntec cause it was very peaceful. less cars, less people.
we had to make Suntec our second checkpoint for that night as Reva had a cut on her right shin and in need of medical attention. luckily, our BREADWINNER of our class, Kum Fai , brought along his first aid kit. after aiding Reva and enduring her screams of pain, we rest awhile and "camwhore" once again. hahahahaha.
Des, Syak, Edi.
breadwinner is our bottom right guy with his black singlet. hahaha.
finally we moved off and within moments we saw the Durian Head of Esplanade. it was really worthwhile riding from ECP, sheding our sweat, losing our weight, burning our fats and eventually reaching the destination. that was our last checkpoint of that night. and poor Reva, her conditions worsen, now with her toes bleeding.
she's the only one with major injuries. poor thing.
by the look of all of their faces that night at that last checkpoint, they were already half dead. nobody had the energy to cycle back to ECP. we bought drinks at a nearby mart to help rejuvenate back the energy we lost before we set off once again, but this time round back to the chalet. i decided not to take the lead cause i too cannot take it.
on the way back, along 1 stretch of straight road, 2 traffic police bikes rode pass us and stop by the side of the road. the first thing that came to my mind was that they wanted to spot check us but actually, they were speed trapping vehicles on that road. and SURPRISINGLY, it was my elder cousin who was on one of the traffic police bikes.

that's not my cousin la. but that's the Super bike my cousin rode that night.
all my cousins call him Abang Aail, but his real name is Ruzail. he was on duty that night. i really envy him cause he gets to ride Super bikes and drive a Subaru police car. well that's his job. catching speeding vehicles. salam and chatted with him awhile, before continuing our journey back to the chalet.
just before we had to cycle underneath the bridge, i saw my cousin chasing up a cab driver and slowing the driver down. COOL SHIT. we rode all the way back to the chalet and by then it was nearing to 4 am. Syak suggested that we have breakfast at Mac first before going back to the chalet and everyone agreed.
at MAC. all were dead and butts aching.
ate breakfast and straight away went back to chalet. everybody was so tired that most of them went to sleep without bathing, including me. but i had to sleep on the first level as the second level bedroom was mostly for girls and those who already bath. within 5 minutes of lying on the ground, i was asleep.
woke up the next AFTERNOON and everyone was at daze. i decided to slacked upstairs at the room as there was air con up there. it was very warm downstairs. i see everyone lazying around the beds. i also joined in the lazying fun. guess everyone was too tired to even talk that afternoon too. hahaha. look below and you'll know why.
xiaospecz and DLY-
hi xiao jie.
duckyboi.
mojozal
yeah, that's me underneath the white blanket. getting stacked by so many.
the aftermath. now i was completely at daze.
we return the bikes back to the shop before having our lunch at Burger King. after lunch, went back to the chalet and laze around again. we were living like a PIG, as what mention from Dorcas. hahaha. slack at the chalet till around evening before Koh, Des, Reva, Sarah, Dorcas & Syak bid farewell. starved, we walked all the way to the other side of ECP to have our dinner.
on the way back from Burger King.
i had Nasi Goreng Pattaya. i can say that it's not bad. the rest had their own meals. ordered a glass of Sugarcane drink. chatted and chatted before we head back to the chalet. it was Kum Fai and Ben's turn to leave the chalet than so it was left with the 5 of us. Nich, Duck, Ed, Sheng Xin and me. we were bored around 2 am and we went to 7 eleven to have supper.
i had a chocolate bar just to fill up my stomach from a heavy dinner i had. walked back to the chalet before around 3 30 am, send Sheng Xin to the lobby to her cab, as she had to go to the airport for her flight back to China. than it was down to me, Duck, Ed and Nich. slept till the next morning before we booked out. Duck's father picked him up from there as he had to head down to his grandma's place.
me, Nich and Ed took a straight bus to Bedok before having our late lunch and heading ourselves back home. i was so damn tired. 2 chalets straight in 4 days = very very tiring. but the main important thing is that i really enjoyed myself. how bout you guys? LOL! CHEERS!
