YAHOO. for the first time, Compassvale won the Inter-School Soccer Area 7 Competiton and we got the FIRST place! hahaha. of course got me then we win. xP i think the golden boot award goes to me. xP top scorer in the competition, with 2 goals. yesterday played all out. i played all the 6 matches before reaching the finals against Nan Chiau.so was awaken up early in the morning, around 6 30, by arif who called my hp, asking about what to wear. then shahira called me before i got out of my house. our meeting place was under my void deck. xP all blamed me cause their house much more nearer to North Vista sec where the Inter-School Area Games are held. our soccer team, consist of ridwan(GK), pao ming(RB), rafie(CB), hafiz(LB), me(CM), afi(AM), mardino(ST), arif(ST). it was 7-a side though so we played subs. first match was against seng kang. we thought we were gonna lose. haha. all the seng kang players got their boots on, and their jerseys. we thought they were '' GOOD ''. xP first half we played. we got many of the ball possesion. the second half, we decided to play cross in. then came the goal. afi crossed it to arif, who then placing it to me for me to whack the ball from a 23 yard goal. the keeper got a touch to it but it hit the post and went in. haha. everyone came to me and shouted goal. we maintained the score till it was over.
we were thru to the Group Table consisting of Nan Chiau, Serangoon, Punggol, Compassvale. first match we were up against Nan Chiau. they played well. one of the strikers from Nan Chiau played a lot of dribbling, but problem is no finishing. haha. it was a draw for the first match so each of our team got 1 point each. next we were up against Punggol. we got many of the ball possesion before came the goal in the first half. afi again crossed it in to mardino. mardino stumbled over the ball. luckily i was behind mardino to receive the ball and try a shot from 17 yards from goal. the keeper got a touch but due to the late defender clearance, i got the ball and shoot it to the left of the keeper. that was my 2nd goal. we won the match against Punggol. so were 3 points up. overall we had 4 points. our next match was against Serangoon. well, their players are all well-build. haha. but we got many of the possesion. before the first half ended, a lose ball was placed in the centre of 30 yard goal. i tried my luck but the ball swerved a little to high. did break the defence though. we maintained a goaless game. we were in the top the Group Table so it means we qualified to the finals.
in the finals, and very suprisingly, we were against Nan Chiau. my brother school. -.-'' well my brother always boast that his school is good and bla bla. i had to prove him wrong. xP in the first half, we did many attacks. we got many of the ball possesion. then came the GOAL that put us to win the whole competition. the GOAL that came from AFI. it was a corner kick, and as usual, afi had to take it cause he's short. haha. afi cross it in low to arif, who was waiting right in front of the goal post. the ball curled, arif tried to take a touch on the ball but misses. the keeper followed arif and was fooled by him. the ball just curled in from the corner kick and went inside the net. it was very SHOCKING. i was behind arif, and was surprised too. GOAL GOAL GOAL. then we played full back defensive. the second half was one half we will remember. towards the finishing moment of the second half, the striker that dribbled a lot broke through our defence. pao ming pressured that guy but he still could dribbled it until the front of the goalkeeper. but his shot was so weak that it only hit the goal post and rebound off, only for the keeper to calmy collect it. i think without PAO MING, we could have concede a goal. thanks PAO MING. the final whistle was blown, and i took off my SHIRT. VICTORIOUS! =) first time ever.
we had to gather and go up to the hall to receive our prize. rafie, our captain, went up the stage to collect the trophy. it was just one trophy. a gold tropy for the Boys Soccer Competition. thought there were medals. bleah. BUDJET. -.-'' our SIRS congratulated us. well, i congratulated the team. without them, we could have never won. =) then me, hafiz, rafie & shahira went to have our lunch at rivervale plaza kopitiam. i had nasi lemak with soya milk. =) good nutritious food. went home after that and slept till night time. was hungry but luckily, my mother re heated fried rice for me. LOVE YOU MAMA! xP watch '' My Name Is Earl ''. poethically pathetic show. every saturday at 10pm. can't missed that show. makes me go crazy and laugh a lot. even my papa and mama watch it. was so damn sleepy so slept at 1am. so now woke up in the morning to update my blog. now signing off. =)
